Pody form chromite deposits are available in KPK province with tens of thousands of tones in proven category. The chromites are found in lenses associated within ultra-mafic rocks along major suture zones. After detail exploration including drilling, tunneling & sampling, a total of about 0.5 million tones deposits have been estimated in proven category with grade of Cr₂O₃ above 40%.
